Carolyn Pile was the first artist in Sacramento to create animated sequences for laser shows. Besides her whimsical cartoons and laser animations, Carolyn created hand-painted window signs and in-store signs for Sacramento area drug store chains. These days, when the artist isn't busy working on her art and maintaining her online sales, she is even busier caring for her disabled mother. She is married to the technical illustrator John Kirkpatrick.

Ha! So true!
I never much cared for those automatic avatars. My Yahoo avitar in particular looked like an evil version of me- a stylish, better looking doppelganger who wouldn't be caught dead associating with me. I had to ditch it for a duck cartoon head.
