I did this silly illustration as an iron-on for a shirt and apron for my mom. It's sort of the Calamari Kid's mother. I call her the Octo-mom.

Carolyn Pile was the first artist in Sacramento to create animated sequences for laser shows. Besides her whimsical cartoons and laser animations, Carolyn created hand-painted window signs and in-store signs for Sacramento area drug store chains. These days, when the artist isn't busy working on her art and maintaining her online sales, she is even busier caring for her disabled mother. She is married to the technical illustrator John Kirkpatrick.
